Education for the whole girl.
A girl’s education should develop her mind, strengthen her character, and help her move through the world with confidence. At Murphy Prep, academics, discipline, and etiquette are connected parts of that work.
We welcome girls with different personalities, interests, backgrounds, and ways of learning. Our small-school setting makes room for individuality, with steady guidance and high expectations. Murphy is not a behavior-based school.
Our vision and mission.
Our vision
Girls who are intellectually curious, confident in who they are, and prepared to contribute with integrity, kindness, and purpose.
Our mission
To provide a personal, engaging elementary education that brings together strong academics, self-discipline, and etiquette, helping each girl grow as a learner and as a person.
Meet Dr. Consuelo Boykins.

The founder of both Murphy Prep and Morgan Prep, Dr. Boykins brings more than 13 years of experience in special education and a deep commitment to helping children grow without losing their individuality.
She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a master’s degree in Mild to Moderate Disabilities for K–12, and a doctoral-level degree in Behavior Analysis.
Her background includes eight years as a certified special education teacher and four years as a Registered Behavior Technician. She holds teaching licenses in Texas and Tennessee. Her previous experience includes serving as a district-level behavior analyst and specialist, supporting educators and student-centered learning environments.
At Murphy Prep, that understanding of child development informs an educational focus on academics, discipline, etiquette, and the whole girl.
